Welcome you should have arrived from Lisa’s blog, wasn’t her card to die for!?!
How is it already October?? This is my favourite month of the year with all the changes that come along with it. Today we are celebrating National Card Making Day for the SMS Blog Hop, which to be honest I was a little apprehensive about. Why you may ask? Simple I have NEVER made a card before. Gasp I know, its crazy talk, but it’t true.
My goal was to make a card that really spoke to me and something I would want to receive. That’s when the idea came to make a card for my adorable 3 year old niece Keira.
She has just started a ballet class and I wanted to send her something happy and fitting. This is what I came up with…
I know it’t not fall themed at all but I feel like it was so fitting for the change she made in going into her first class of any kind and I wanted her to know she will always be loved.
I used an older chipboard sticker that I had no idea how I was ever going to use and added my favourite Hot Pink Hear Felties on top along with one of the beautiful flower sequins form Passion Flower sequin pack. Then I just sprinkled the Alma Mater sequins on the bottom to finish off the card.
In the end I am so happy with the way it turned out and even more excited for my niece to receive it in the mail!
Hope you enjoy the rest of the hop your now off to the fabulous Sarah M’s Blog. Have Fun!!
